Keeping up with the Kealamakias: Catching Up...again. February and a little March.

So blogging gets really hard when you are a full-time student and planning your wedding...which is why it has been a while since I've blogged. BUT I am about to catch you all up.

February was a bit of a struggle. Waiaka and I got Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Let's just say if I had the option to give it to anyone in the world, I wouldn't. It was seriously the worst! We both got these chicken pox-looking blisters all over our hands, feet, face, and poor Waiaka got some in his throat. We basically spend a week and a half on his couch watching movies and trying not to think about how crappy we were feeling. There were no pictures to document this, for obvious reasons. After we had recovered, our hands started peeling where the blisters had been. My hands are finally better and Waiaka's are just about done. What an awful sickness! We only spread it to one person, Waiaka's roommate Shane. But he didn't get it as bad as us luckily. But anyways, that was the first couple weeks of February.

Valentine's Day was wonderful. I have the best fiance ever! He made me flowers out of Hershey Kisses and got me a cupcake from a cute little bakery near his apartment called the Cocoa Bean. He also wrote me a very sweet note. I love this guy! He is so creative and thoughtful. I made him a candy bar poster. We didn't really have a Valentine's Day date because that afternoon, we headed to Utah. We ate all his candy in the car ride down :)

We went to Utah for my bridal shower! We had such a great turn out and I was so happy to have so many people support me. I got some awesome presents too! Waiaka went bowling and to the outdoors store with my dad and uncle and little cousins while the bridal shower was going on. The food was great, the presents were awesome, and I was so happy to spend time with my aunts, cousins, friends, and Waiaka's cousin and aunt. It got me even more excited (if that's even possible) for the wedding!

WE BOUGHT A CAR! My Aunt Marie was kind enough to sell us her car! They moved to Atlanta, GA so they needed their little car taken off their hands. I don't have a picture of it right now but it is a 2002 Honda Accord. We love it. It is red with a sunroof, which is always fun. We are so grateful and so happy!

So those are all the exciting things that have been going on in February! Wedding planning is going pretty good! We are getting so close (25 days to be exact...).

I'll try to be better about posting more often...as the wedding approaches though, there are no promises!
